FLORA is a privacy-preserving ovulation tracking app that utilizes Federated Learning (FL) to protect user data while delivering accurate AI-driven predictions. Unlike traditional apps, FLORA keeps data on users’ devices, ensuring privacy while collaboratively training machine learning models. It integrates Fully Homomorphic Encryption, local differential privacy, and blockchain-based consent management, providing a secure and transparent reproductive health solution.

FLAMENCO
Privacy-Preserving Federated Learning Application for diagnosis of communication disorders in Child development
Funded by: TERMINET H2020 Project
FLAMENCO applied Federated Learning to an existing software application suite, which is used to diagnose communication skills development in children, detecting potential deficiencies timely and accurately. The software suite collects data from a child’s responses to an animation game, along with heart rate readings collected from a smartwatch (worn while the child plays the game). The data is then sent and stored into a cloud data hub and analyzed using AI-based classification techniques. The outcome is a risk indicator that suggests the likelihood of a child developing any learning and communication disorders.

Tools for Promoting Tourism Experience
Funded by: RESEARCH – CREATE – INNOVATE (project code: Τ1EDK-02474)
In the project “PROMOTE” applications were developed to enhance the tourist experience, helping visitors find answers to a series of questions: Where should I go? Which sights are worth visiting? Where should I stay? Where should I eat? How can I have fun? How can I get to a sightseeing location or a recreational area?

Secure immutable System based on Blockchain for water management smart contracts
Funded by: TERMINET H2020 Project
The project has created a permissioned blockchain architectural network, a Hyperledger Fabric, supporting smart contracts for the case of water utilisation management systems.
