UniPal is an LLM-powered virtual assistant developed for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Democritus University of Thrace to simplify and automate the Internship (Practical Training) process.
It gives students instant, conversational answers about internship regulations, procedures, deadlines, required documents, eligibility and administrative workflows. By combining Large Language Models with university-specific knowledge, UniPal reduces administrative workload and improves the student experience.
